Disneyland

On November 22, 2009 I turned one more year on this earth. On this day my Godson Nomar also turned another year. We celebrated at Disneyland. Very few crowds and not that much waiting in line, made the day extra special. It was Nomar's first time at Disneyland and he had lots of fun! He said the Indiana Jones ride was his favorite. My favorite of all time is Space Mountain. My comadre Nelly and Alicia joined in for the fun. Thank you Disneyland for giving us our free birthday admission. We saved $72.oo each!! I'm posting some pictures of our day there.

Proof of Michael Jackon's ghost

This video goes out to Bianca. She loves it, so I went ahead and post it. Enjoy.

Paranormal Activity Movie

I watched the Paranormal Activity movie a week ago. This movie is supposedly based on true events that happened in San Diego. It's about a young couple that just moved to a new tract home. This movie is a low-budget movie made at home with a digital camcorder. The girl is supposedly haunted by this demon that has followed her since childhood. The boyfriend buys a digital camcorder to video tape everything, even at night when they sleep. Surprisingly the camera does catch a lot of activity. This movie is a thriller and keeps you in suspense. In my opinion, it's a very good movie that has been made at home but it's fake. If supposedly this activity happened 3 or 4 years ago and there was a murder involved and it's on true events, why show a real murder on national theaters for people to see? hmmmm. It's only a well made low budget movie folks. Enjoy it.

HALLOWEEN PARTY

I had a Halloween party at my house this past weekend. The kids enjoyed themselves with the strobe light and the music. We played games that included prizes. To eat we had hotdogs and other goodies. Lupito Carmelo took the best costume of the night. He was dressed as Jason from Friday the 13th. Check out the pictures. I hope all of you had a fun and safe Halloween. Next year I will have a haunted house

George Lopez

George Lopez video in Tucson.

Small video of George

Two videos of George Lopez. Seconds long, but its something.

George Lopez

On Saturday October 24th, 2009, I went to a George Lopez show in Tucson, Arizona. It took place at the Tucson Music Hall and it was called Tall, Dark, and Chicano. George Lopez performed for an 1 1/2 and it was non stop laughing. His jokes were made for a mature audience and everybody had their laugh of their life. The only bad thing is that we couldn't take pictures or even video tape it, but I managed to take some pictures. They are not of good quality but it's something. In my opinion, Mr. Lopez put an excellent show, and hopefully one day I can see him again in concert.

Dia De Los Muertos

Dia de los muertos is a three day celebration that is celebrated in Mexico and some parts of the United States to honor our dead loved ones. Celebration starts October 31 and ends on November 2. Family members go to the cemetery and gather around their loved ones graves. Food, drinks, flowers, and other decorations cover the graves. Some family member stay at the cemetery all day and all night long. This celebration started around 3000 years ago by Meso-Americans and the Aztecs to mock death. When the Spaniards arrived in Mexico around 500 years ago, they tried to make the Aztecs stop celebrating this tradition but failed. These three days are part of our Mexican tradition. In my opinion, I think all of us should go to the cemetery at least once a week and visit our loved ones, not just one time a year.
